Your child is beginning their final year at Primary School and will be working hard to reach their goals.
Along with preparing for National Tests in May, they will also be preparing for their journeys in High School. There will be challenges along the way, but with determination and perseverance, each and every child can succeed.
PE in Year 6 will be on Mondays and Thursdays. Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school on those days and inhalers if needed.
Homework is always available in class and children are encouraged to help themselves. In addition to this, your child will also have spellings and times tables to learn which will be tested weekly. Your support in this is greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We look forward to working with you.

On Tuesday 5th December, Year 6 visited Brockholes Nature Reserve.
The children took part in a variety of activities and were a credit to themselves and the school.
With our binoculars at the ready, we set of to see what we could find.
Can you spot the heron in one of the pictures?
21.11.17- Don't forget to complete multiplication revision at home this week. We would love to see your hard work!
Well done to those children who completed the home learning task this week.
You know who you are
This week, Year 6 are studying homophones- when two words sound the same but are spelt differently.
For example, flour, flower, aisle, isle
Don't forget to prepare for Friday's test using the sheet handed out this afternoon.
