  • Viking Visit Day - A fierce fun filled day!

  • Sorting Shapes

    Today the class have been sorting shapes by their properties.

  • Snow Day, Snow Play

    Children discussed what items of clothing we needed to put on to stay warm in the snow. Children then dressed themselves appropriately. We went outside to build snowmen and see who could make the tallest. Unfortunately the snow was too soft, we were unable to make any balls so had races and played snow angels. We Had to think about other children's feelings and whether they wanted to play with us in the snow or just wonder around feeling the snow crunch under their feet.

  • Trip to Ribchester Museum

    We had a brilliant day at Ribchester Museum! We learned lots of new facts, dressed up in armour and went to the Roman baths (although these were more like mud baths after all the rain!). #romans #museum #learning #year4

  • Playground Angles

    This week we learnt about types of angles and how to estimate them. Drawing on the playground was loads of fun!

  • Tidying the Peace Garden

    Garden maintenance! In September 2018, members of the Eco Committee and newly formed Eco Club joined forces to tidy the Peace Garden: they collected litter; weeded the lavender patch; checked on the progress of the carrots, runner beans and sunflowers; and rescued some worms!
